Chapter 36 - Northwest Indiana
~ Creaky Knees and Rusty Keys ~
Summer Operating Contest - FINAL MONTH !
Don't forget our ongoing summer contest: Between June 1 - Aug. 31, make
radio contact with as many QCWA members as you can and submit your log
at our September meeting. All QCWA members, not just our chapter
members. Log can be just a handwritten paper, no need for logbook or
anything fancy. Include date, time, band, callsign, and QCWA number. You
can lookup member numbers on the Headquarter's page on their
Membership Directory.
Most QSO's wins an 8x10 autographed picture of NBC5 Meteorologist Ginger Zee!
In case of a tie, the person with the earliest logged contact will win. Along with
her signature, Ginger wrote, I love ham radio and the QCWA!
