Chapter 36 - Northwest Indiana

~ Creaky Knees and Rusty Keys ~

A rather light turnout again (21) for our October meeting, but we still had a great time and delicious meal at the Dynasty Buffet. And I'm cheating a little because a couple of the folks I'm counting were really there dining with another couple, but they still stopped by to say hello and got their picture included below. Can you guess who? (No, this is not a contest!)

But we did have a contest at this meeting, and we did have a winner! Chuck, KC9OYE, correctly guessed that his face was the one that I had photoshopped together, and he collected the $15 cash prize. Chuck thought there wasn't something quite right about his hair, and that was an acceptable response, but it was definitely hard to tell that from the reduced-size photos that you had to use to make your choices. For a little more clarity, I am posting the full-size pics that I took last month so you can see better where I made the photo edits. Look carefully around the outer edge of Chuck's hair, and also the area of his left jaw and where it meets his shirt. You might detect my editing along his lower neck/upper chest also. Congratulations, Chuck, on winning this contest! And thanks to everyone who participated!

Just for fun... who's head got chopped off in the pics from this meeting? Only one person's face was photoshopped in the meeting pics below (excluding red eye reduction). No contest, no prize... just something for you to ponder and guess at, if you want. Email me your guess, and I'll email back and tell you who it is.

It's a good time to again say Thank you! to everyone for your patience as I take multiple pictures at each meeting. You can see that I do try to put your best face forward, so to speak. It's also a good time to remind you that if you like any particular pictures from any of our meetings, I will be happy to send you the full size versions if you want a copy, especially if you want to make a print. I only reduce them down to save file space and bandwidth on our internet server, and still keep them large enough to look nice on your monitor.
