Chapter 36 - Northwest Indiana

~ Creaky Knees and Rusty Keys ~

We missed many of our regular members at the May meeting, but we were joined by quite a few of our not-as-frequent folks, so it still turned out to be a very nice crowd of 31 for dinner at the Hacienda. We also had a couple of people joining us for their first time. I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and will return often.

The party room is quite crowded there, which was the reason for limiting the show and tell. Actually, I don't think anyone brought anything at all, but Carl W9CJH had a stick of IC chips that he gave away (not sure what IC's). I rode the motorcycle in so we didn't have our banner flying either. I just couldn't pass up the beautiful weather since I haven't had too many chances to ride this year.

And even though a couple of us had cameras there, no one took any photos. We didn't even pause for any meeting stuff... no announcements, etc. But you didn't forget Field Day, did you? Coming up the last full weekend in June, the 23rd-24th. Come on out and support your local club for what is probably the biggest ham radio event of the year!
